Please note: This recipe is still a work in progress, with a little fine tuning here and there, so each batch will be slightly different to the last until we’ve perfected it, but it’s too good already to keep from you!

unrefined sugar, glucose syrup, malt (Barley), golden syrup, bicarbonate soda, margarine (contains sunflower oil & vegetable oils), vanilla extract. Chocolate contains 42% cocoa solids, sugar, cocoa butter, soya flour, sunflower lecithin.
Malt contains a tiny amount of gluten (we’ve calculated approx. 60 to 80 parts per million in our recipe), which although very low, it’s not low enough to be labelled as gluten-free and suitable for coeliacs (that requires 20ppm). As a matter of reference, bread contains on average 10,000ppm of gluten.
